Words within words- use both words to make words

Euouae is the longest English word that has no consonants and is made up entirely of vowels. It is a musical term from Medieval times.  

Tsktsk- is the longest English word that is made up entirely of consonants and no vowels. Used to show disapproval or annoyance. 


Task for Friday
Learn the Phonetic Alphabet/Military Alphabet- 
This is easy and fun but also very helpful in your future. 
Why?? I can hear you saying. Because sometimes you need to speak to someone on the phone or ship to shore radio and the other person can't make out what you are saying. This is an international alphabet and recognized around the world. Now you can be a worldly person. 
You can spell the word and be sure the person on the other end gets it correct. No room for error. 
Each letter has a word to represent it. See below.
We will use it in the following ways:
  1. Learn the Phonetic Alphabet
  1. Write your name and the names of your family including pets. example- Brenda is Bravo Romeo Echo November Delta Alpha
  1. Unscramble this word using the Phonetic Alphabet-

  2. Find a long word to challenge your family with then challenge them to know the Phonetic Alphabet as well as you.
